Therapy

  • I provide individual, couple, and family therapy for people navigating the complexities of relationships, identity, life transitions, and mental health. My approach is grounded in attachment theory and culturally responsive practice — I meet you where you are and work with what matters most to you.

    All sessions are conducted virtually via secure, HIPAA-compliant Zoom. I am licensed in New York State.

    I draw from several evidence-based frameworks, always tailored to who you are and what you're bringing into the room:

    • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) — An attachment-based approach to couple therapy that helps partners identify and shift the negative patterns that keep them stuck, so they can reconnect and feel more secure with each other.

    • Gottman Method Couples Therapy — A research-driven approach that strengthens friendship, manages conflict, and helps couples build shared meaning.

    • Structural Family Therapy — A systems-oriented approach that helps families reorganize the patterns and dynamics that contribute to distress.

    • Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy — Balances strategies for change with practices that promote acceptance and emotional closeness.

    • Culturally Responsive Practice — Every approach I use is adapted to reflect the cultural contexts, identities, and lived experiences of the people I work with. Culture isn't an add-on — it's central to the work.

  • Free 15-Minute Consultation — Before we begin, I offer a brief phone or video consultation so we can talk about what's bringing you in, how I work, and whether we're a good fit.

    Session Format — Sessions are 45 minutes for individuals and 60 minutes for couples and families, held weekly or biweekly via Zoom.

    Fees — Please reach out directly for current fee information. A sliding scale may be available for qualifying clients. I'm happy to provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
